Twice she was granted the scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for remarkable artistic achievements (2015/2016 and 2016/2017). Kornelia is also the laureate of the Rectors’ Award at the international exhibition of the best graduate pieces of Fine Art Academies in Gdańsk (2018). Finalist of the competition “Hestia Artistic Journey” (2017) and international competition organised by Artmagedon “(Nie)Obecność”. In 2021, she received an art scholarship of the President of the Capital City of Warsaw and completed a scholarship in Düsseldorf celebrating the 100th anniversary of Joseph Beuys’ birthday. In recent years, she has had solo exhibitions in the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art (“Power Play”, 2020), Galeria Miejska BWA in Bydgoszcz and Artists’ Colony in Gdańsk (“Notes on the Passage of Time”, 2020) and Zona Sztuki Aktualnej in Szczecin (“the deity of mine”, 2019). Her works are featured in both private and public collections, including POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews. She creates sets and costumes for numerous theatrical productions. Dzikowska’s approach assumes that what is unbelievable may turn out to be a fact, the unreal can be real, and a lie can become truth.
