Masaru Emoto is the creator of the concept of the “memory of water”. It is based on the assumption that water is capable of absorbing and reacting to information and emotion it receives from humans. Under their influence, it takes various forms, creates shapes whose appearance and properties depend on whether this input is positive or negative. Emoto’s theory fits with the artist’s interest in beliefs, conspiracy theories and manipulation techniques, combining the world of fairy tales with reality. Inspired by his theses, Kornelia created an installation with the assumption that the notions of truth and lie are relative.
